AI Corridor of the Americas — RaceFor.AI

Question 1

What is the AI Corridor of the Americas?

Accepted Answer

The AI Corridor of the Americas is a cross-sector network of policymakers, industry leaders, investors, and technology organizations across all 35 nations of the Western Hemisphere, coordinated by RaceFor.AI and GENIA Americas. It is designed to build a unified AI infrastructure layer for the Americas — one that reflects the hemisphere's own regulatory frameworks, languages, market dynamics, and industrial priorities rather than importing AI architectures designed for the US, Europe, or China. The Corridor is already active across 12+ regions and provides its members with AI strategy, platform access through Glápagos, regulatory compliance support, and access to regional AI talent.

Question 2

What is RaceFor.AI?

Accepted Answer

RaceFor.AI is the strategic operating layer for AI deployment across the Americas. It functions as the network and coordination institution that aligns policymakers, capital, industry, and technology behind a shared mission: ensuring the Americas develops its own AI leadership rather than depending entirely on external AI infrastructure from the US, China, or Europe. RaceFor.AI provides AI strategy for organizations and governments, connects members to the Glápagos AI platform, facilitates regulatory navigation across jurisdictions, and coordinates AI talent development. It operates under the broader GENIA Americas initiative.

Question 3

What is GENIA Americas?

Accepted Answer

GENIA Americas (General Ecosystem for National Intelligence in AI) is the institutional backbone of the AI Corridor of the Americas. It is the connective tissue that links RaceFor.AI's network strategy, the Glápagos technology platform, and regional AI policy advocacy into a coherent initiative. GENIA formally engaged with the United States Congress on AI policy through House Resolution 649 (118th Congress), which called for a regional hemispheric AI strategy emphasizing inclusive systems, equitable AI development, and democratic values. Although H.Res. 649 did not pass before the end of the 118th Congress, its core vision continues to shape GENIA's policy agenda.

Question 4

Why does Latin America need its own AI infrastructure?

Accepted Answer

AI systems built in Silicon Valley or imported from China are trained on data, regulatory assumptions, and market dynamics that do not reflect Latin American realities. Each market in the Americas operates with its own regulatory rhythms, labor dynamics, capital flows, political cycles, and language requirements. AI that ignores these factors produces poor outcomes, compliance risks, and strategic vulnerabilities for organizations deploying it in the hemisphere. RaceFor.AI and Glápagos exist specifically to build AI infrastructure that understands and operates within the Americas' own context — not as an adaptation of external systems, but as infrastructure built here, for here.

Question 5

What are the four pillars of the AI Corridor of the Americas?

Accepted Answer

The AI Corridor of the Americas is organized around four capabilities: (1) Strategy — identifying precisely where AI creates competitive leverage in your specific industry and market, not a generic roadmap; (2) Platform — deploying Glápagos AI inside your organization's actual decisions, systems, and regional regulatory environment; (3) Compliance — navigating regulatory frameworks across multiple jurisdictions in the Americas, built by practitioners who understand how regulators in this hemisphere actually operate; and (4) Talent — developing and connecting people who can run AI in production, not just evaluate it.

Question 6

How can an organization join or engage with the AI Corridor of the Americas?

Accepted Answer

Organizations can engage with the AI Corridor of the Americas through several paths: requesting a Corridor Report to understand where your industry currently stands in the hemisphere's AI landscape; launching an AI initiative through the Glápagos platform; engaging RaceFor.AI's services for strategic advisory, compliance navigation, or talent development; or contacting GENIA Americas directly to explore partnership, policy collaboration, or investment alignment. Visit racefor.ai/aicorridor to claim your position or contact the team at admin@genia.ai.

Question 7

How does the AI Corridor of the Americas address AI equity and inclusion?

Accepted Answer

Equitable AI development is a founding principle of the AI Corridor of the Americas. GENIA Americas formally advocated before the U.S. Congress for AI systems that confront systemic bias, advance social justice, expand economic opportunity, and uphold democratic values across the hemisphere. The Corridor's open-source, tailored solutions approach is designed to ensure that AI benefits are not concentrated in large urban markets or well-capitalized organizations — but extend to communities and industries across all 35 nations of the hemisphere. Inclusive AI governance and shared prosperity are core to the network's mission.
