Hakima Mokrane

Dr. Hakima Mokrane is a senior AI and scientific leader bridging astrophysics, computer science, and AI-driven product innovation. Trained as a PhD astrophysicist in molecular astrophysics, she has led research on planetary formation and habitability, translating complex physical-chemical processes into data-driven models. In industry and deep-tech startups, she has built and scaled high-performing ML teams and delivered end-to-end AI solutions, deep learning, computer vision, and reinforcement learning, for DeepTech applications.

She operates at the intersection of strategy and execution: defining AI roadmaps, mentoring teams, securing funding, and accelerating research-to-product transitions. She serves as an Expert Advisor and reviewer for the European Commission, the European Cooperation in Science and Technology (COST), and mentors deep-tech ventures, with contributions recognized through collaborations and reviews involving leading institutions, including NASA and Berkeley SkyDeck.
