Computational Biology & Health Innovation

Laura Zuluaga Pineda is an MSc candidate in Computational Biology at Universidad de los Andes with a background in Biology and Microbiology. Her work focuses on the intersection of artificial intelligence, Omics data analysis, and transnational health innovation.


Laura is actively involved in building the AI for Good ecosystem in Latin America, serving in leadership roles that connect multidisciplinary talent, research, and real-world deployment of AI solutions. She is particularly interested in accelerating responsible AI adoption in health, biotechnology, and regional development.


Through her work, Laura aims to help position Latin America not only as a consumer of AI technologies, but as a creator of impactful, globally relevant solutions.
