
Saiph Savage
Human-Centered AI Researcher and Social Impact Leader
Dr. Saiph Savage is a researcher and leader in human-centered artificial intelligence, specializing in the design of technologies that enhance human capabilities and advance social justice.
She earned a degree in Computer Engineering from UNAM and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She is currently a professor and researcher at Northeastern University and a research collaborator at UNAM. Her work examines the impact of AI on workers, vulnerable communities, and institutional systems, integrating human-computer interaction methods with participatory approaches.
She has collaborated with governments and international organizations on responsible AI policy and leads educational initiatives that expand access to technology for underrepresented populations.
