Tanmay Bakshi was named The Toronto Star's "Newsmaker of the Year" in 2013 after publishing an acclaimed iOS app at age nine, and Bloomberg Businessweek later listed him among young entrepreneurs.
Since then, he has delivered AI and innovation keynotes in 30+ countries for organizations such as the United Nations, Apple, Microsoft, Google, Amazon, and Walmart, reaching over 400,000 people. He is an AI and Software Architect for IBM watsonx, a Google Developer Expert in Machine Learning, a TED and keynote speaker, author of four technology books, and an instructor at the University of Winnipeg.
His work spans voice systems, creative AI tools, and neuroscience projects, and he has surpassed his goal of empowering 100,000 people through technology education, with coverage in major global media.
